A how to class for preserving the pelts of animals you raise for food, or harvest from the wild. Raccoons, rabbits, deer or bear, the list goes on but they all have a use in native crafts and wardrobe making. This class is instructed by a tribal member who is an experienced skinner, tanner and furrier.

Join us on a seasonal trip through one of the many State parks for photo opportunities, and local wildlife education.
Learn proper composition, color balance, lighting and use of backgrounds. Held in a photography studio setting, with lots of props and backdrops for you to use, this class will help you create professional looking photographs for scrapbooking projects, portfolios, and on line sales. Learn to create your own pieces of hand made jewelry that will express your heritage and spiritual being. Instructed by a local artisan and tribal member, group and private classes are available. Learn the basic rules and procedures to safely and confidently handle a firearm. This is the first level class for beginners using hand guns or long guns, but anyone is welcome to attend. If you have never fired a gun, or if you just need a refresher coarse, you should know how to properly and safely clean, transport, handle and store your firearms. This class is appropriate for personal/home defense and hunting use.
Designed for the individual that already knows the basics but needs to hone their skills. There are several topics covered in this course: Protocol for Self Defense, Practical Concealed Carry, traversing obstacles and dense brush with a rifle, and actual range shooting scenarios. It is recommended that you bring your personal firearm for this segment. Anyone is welcome to attend.
